In light of the holiday, I thought I would post the most romantic act (other than proposal) my husband did for me.
Wow, it must have been (trying to remember years ago) about 8 years ago, I was working as a store mangager at Hesperia Veterinary Supply. The store closed at 6 and I walked through the front parking lot to my car. I noticed Beverly (co-worker), who was ahead of me, looked back at me kind of strangely. I continued to walk to my car (oldie but goodie Toyota) unlocked it and saw a rose intertwined on the steering wheel. After I grabbed the rose with a giant smile on my face, I turned around and there was my boyfriend at the time with the other 11 roses. I am trying to remember the occasion (maybe Valentine's), maybe he will remember.
Afterwards, hubby told me why Beverly had looked back at me. She had spotted him crouched down hiding behind one of my tires. I guess from a distance she didn't recognize him. Lucky for me she didn't blow his cover!
